Real Wedding: Rachel + Ben
"Home is wherever I'm with you..." -Edward Sharpe
Rachel and Ben are such a fun and easygoing couple and while they were so excited to marry each other, they really wanted to make the day about their family and friends. That meant including their adorable pup Bruno as the ring bearer, who showed up to the ceremony dressed to the K-9s in a tie and his very own boutonniere, having Megan's sister sing as she walked down the aisle with her mom and getting each and every guest together to take a big group photo right after they said "I do." The ceremony was one of the first held at Sundance Square Pavilion right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. The rustic wood decor and organic greenery juxtaposed the pavilion's modern structure beautifully. The rooftop reception followed directly across the street at Reata where guests dined in the iconic glass domed restaurant with lanterns glowing and flowers and candles seemingly floating in midair above the cake table. The groom's cake was a super fun detail and an ode to all things Ben- it featured a pigeon (their last name) skydiving onto the TCU football field while drinking a beer. Not a cake we will soon forget! Once the band kicked off, there was no stopping this crowd! Rachel even danced the night away in a unicorn head that a guest had brought. At the end of the evening, trumpets led the way as Rachel and Ben walked through sparklers and off to their newly married life together.
